Booking & Refund Policy

Note: Studio District is a studio rental marketplace. We do not sell or ship physical products. This policy covers studio booking cancellations and refunds.

1. How booking works

  1. Submit a booking request — no payment is taken at this stage
  2. The studio confirms within 30–60 minutes via WhatsApp
  3. You receive a Razorpay payment link after confirmation
  4. Your slot is locked only after payment is successfully completed

2. Cancellation by you (customer)

Note: Cancellation policy may vary per studio — check the studio listing before booking.

3. Cancellation by studio

If a studio cancels a confirmed and paid booking, you will receive a 100% full refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

We will also proactively reach out to help you find a suitable alternative studio.

4. No-show policy

If you do not attend a confirmed, paid booking without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued.

5. Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of ₹1,200 is collected per booking.

  • Released automatically within 2 hours after the booking ends (if no damage reported).
  • If a damage claim is raised by the studio, the deposit is held pending dispute resolution — resolved within 48–72 hours.

6. Refund timeline

All approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method via Razorpay.

7. How to cancel

Via app: Login → My Bookings → Select the booking → Cancel booking

Via email: Send your booking reference to bookings@studiodistrict.in
